Burlington - Cambodian Day

On Sunday, September 10, the Cambodian congregations from across Southern Ontario gathered together at LaSalle Park in Burlington for a divine service with District Apostle Woll. Cambodian Day is an annual event coordinated among the Cambodian congregations. On this special occasion, they were also joined by Apostles Sobottka and Dzur, and by all of the District Leaders from across Canada. The Southern Ontario Orchestra also attended and contributed beautiful musical arrangements before and throughout the divine service.
 
The congregation was joyful to celebrate the birthdays of Apostle Sobottka and Bishop Voeun and to spend the day together in fellowship. After the divine service, there was a picnic lunch which included a large assortment of traditional Cambodian dishes. The children enjoyed an afternoon filled with fun and games. Blessed with beautiful weather, everyone enjoyed walks along the marina and waterfront and catching up with old friends!
