Margaret Ave - Thanksgiving Divine Service

On Sunday, October 1, Bishop Wagner conducted Thanksgiving divine service in the Margaret Ave church based on the Bible text from Romans 11:36: For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever.

We offer our thanks to our heavenly Father for all things natural, but we are especially thankful that He leads us on a clear path to salvation whereby we will be with Him for all eternity.

The Bishop made special mention of those who have gone before us who have built up God's work, and he emphasized that "the work has not gone down", and that it still carries on today. The greatness of God's work makes us humble and turns our thoughts towards gratitude and thanksgiving, and the Bishop emphasized that "gratitude is the heart's memory". It is with this mindset that we continue on to our goal of faith.

After the divine service, the congregation was invited to share in a potluck feast and to spend the afternoon together in fellowship.
