Sudbury - Year End Youth Weekend
On November 17, the Northern Ontario youth gathered for a weekend of fellowship.
On Friday, the youth participated in the annual Holy Walk in the town of Bruce Mines where they walked an outdoor trail that depicted the road to Bethlehem up to the moment of Jesus' birth. The walk featured live actors, animals, and singing - a wonderful way to start the Christmas season.
On Saturday morning, everyone gathered in Sudbury for brunch and choir practice, before heading off to the mall where they helped fill shoeboxes with items for underprivileged children. In the evening, there were many festive activities, including outdoor fun in the snow and a gift exchange. Later on, everyone shared a delicious meal together and then gathered around a bonfire for a spiritual discussion.
The weekend concluded with a divine service on Sunday morning in the Sudbury church, where many of the young brothers served along. It was a beautiful weekend of fellowship for all.
