Whistler - Seniors Weekend

On the weekend of September 9th, the seniors from all over British Columbia travelled to Whistler for a weekend of fellowship.

The activities started on Friday with a trip to the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre, a First Nations museum. Afterwards, everyone went out to a restaurant for a pizza dinner before retiring to the hotel for the night.

On Saturday, everyone was excited to ride the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, which is a tri-cable gondola lift that joins the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. The gondola offered an amazing and enjoyable sightseeing opportunity. In the evening, there was a choir practice for Sunday's service.

The highlight of the weekend was the divine service on Sunday morning, conducted by Bishop Wagner and based on the Bible text from Romans 12:13.

It was an amazing weekend of fellowship and fun. Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible!
