London Cambodian - Fundraiser Volleyball Tournament
On March 29th, the London Cambodian congregation hosted a volleyball tournament in order to raise funds for our members in Cambodia who were in need of wells. Approximately twenty teams registered for the event which took over a month and a half to plan. Thanks to the effort of the tournament coordinators, as well as those who donated and participated, they were able to collect enough money to build three wells throughout the country of Cambodia. The first one was established in the village of Trapeang Veng, in the province of Takeo. The second was built in the Puch Sangva village in Kapong Spue, and the last well was built in the Trapeang Tlan village in Phnom Penh. The members were incredibly grateful as they were in need of such necessities.
