Calgary - Children's Craft Event
On February 28th, Calgary had their Sunday school Mother’s and Father’s Day craft event.
For the mothers the children made lap quilts. With plenty of fabric and assistance from their teachers, the children were able to make enough for every mother and still have 12 extras; the spare blankets were given to some of the seniors and those in need in the congregation. In addition, the kids also finger painted a paper roll which they used as wrapping paper for the gifts.
For the fathers, the children will make open jar jelly in June. In the meantime, the kids had fun decorating the jars and making cards. Thanks to the help of their teachers the kids had a great time and made some incredible gifts for their parents!
