Activities for Children’s Teaching Programs


Listed below, but not limited to, are possible activities that may occur within your local children's teaching programs. When such activities do occur a permission form will be sent to parents outlining further details.

ACTIVITIES AT THE CHURCH OUTSIDE OF NORMAL HOURS

Games or movie nights (copyright licence required for movies – Admin Office will obtain)
Gym activities
Rehearsals for events such as Christmas programs

ACTIVITIES AWAY FROM THE CHURCH

BBQ and fellowships at members' homes
Bowling
Corn Maze
Gym activities - no gymnastics
Hiking, walking - low impact
Licensed operators - indoor wall climbing, winter tubing
Mini golf
Non-contact outside activities
Parks
Scavenger hunt
Skating - arena or rink
Snow tubing
Splash pads
Swimming (public pools) - lifeguards are required, non-member arm’s length relationship
Tobogganing
Zoo

OVERNIGHT ACTIVITIES - Separate registration is required

Camps
Camping/tenting
Sleepover at the church where applicable

Axe throwing
Binge contests
Cliff diving
Competitive eating
Contact sports - ice hockey, football
Euro-jumping
Horseback riding
Gymnastics
Paintball
Rounds of golf
Skating on ponds or open water
Skiing
Ticketed events - cinema, concerts, entertainment, sporting events
Trampoline
Vertical cliff rappelling
Zip lining
