District Apostle Woll Visits St. Thomas
    (24/05/2013) On Wednesday, May 8th District Apostle Woll, together with Apostle Sobottka and Bishop Esser, visited the St. Thomas congregation in Southwestern Ontario. It was a very happy occasion for the members of St. Thomas and London Central congregation, who were also invited.

Senior’s Pancake Breakfast
    (24/05/2013) On Saturday, April 20th the seniors got together at the Kitchener Central church to welcome Apostle Kreutner and his wife into the senior’s group after his retirement. They celebrated with a pancake feast, which was organized by the Nentwigs.

2013 Cambodian New Year Outreach Event
    (24/05/2013) On Sunday, April 7th, the congregation of Newmarket Cambodian hosted its annual Cambodian New Year Outreach event. The divine service, which was conducted by the Bishop Voeun, truly was the highlight of the entire day. Dressed in traditional Cambodian clothing, the adult choir performed a wonderful song after the text and the service was concluded by a well-rehearsed performance by some of the youth.

Cambodian New Year Celebration in Hamilton, ON
    (24/05/2013) On April 14th the Hamilton Cambodian congregation celebrated Cambodian New Year. The day began with a beautiful service conducted by District Elder Mueller, who also called up Priest Bo who served in Khmer. After the service, the Sunday School girls performed a traditional dance. The dancers showcased the results of their diligent practising to the great appreciation of the congregation.

Confirmation Service in British Columbia
    (23/05/2013) Bishop Sturm from Saskatchewan came to hold a multi-congregational service in Vancouver Heights, BC to bestow the blessing of Confirmation on seven young believers. The Bishop advised them to always remain faithful to our Heavenly Father and then blessings would follow.

Toronto District Confirmation Review Evening
    (23/05/2013) On Saturday, April 6th fifteen confirmands from the Toronto District gathered together for their confirmation review evening with Apostle Dzur. The confirmands were divided into three teams and challenged with a game of Jeopardy. By answering questions on topics they learned in Confirmation Class, they were able to demonstrate their knowledge through a fun and entertaining game.

Confirmation Service in Kitchener Central
    (16/05/2013) Apostle J. Sobottka officiated a multi-congregational service for Confirmation in the Kitchener Central church. The Apostle used a bible word specifically selected by Chief Apostle Leber for this special day (Deuteronomy 28:2).

NACtion Street Clean in SSM
    (16/05/2013) Over the weekend of May 3rd and 4th the Sault Ste. Marie youth geared up to clean the streets surrounding our fair city’s two NAC Church buildings. This was done in honour of Earth Day however April 22nd was not possible due to the copious amounts of snow still on the ground at that time.

Rexdale Youth Enjoy a Sushi Dinner
    (16/05/2013) On Friday, April 26th the youth from the Rexdale congregation gathered at a sushi restaurant in Woodbridge, ON for an evening of fun and friendship. The evening started with a prayer by District Elder Latorcai, who brought his newly confirmed son to join us, and then we indulged in the fantastic Japanese cuisine.

Visit of District Apostle Woll to Paris, ON
    (16/05/2013) On Wednesday, April 24th District Apostle Woll and his wife came to Paris, ON where he conducted the mid-week service. He used a bible text from Luke 6:19 “And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.”

Retirement celebration evening for Apostle Ken Kreutner
    (08/05/2013) On Thursday, April 25th a retirement celebration program was held for Apostle K. Kreutner. District Apostle M. Woll opened the festive evening held in the Kitchener Central church. This church is the “home congregation” of the Apostle and Sister Kreutner and where, only a few weeks previous, Chief Apostle Leber came to retire the Apostle.

Chief Apostle W. Leber – Divine Service and Retirement of Apostle K. Kreutner
    (07/05/2013) Months of planning and anticipation culminated with the visit of Chief Apostle W. Leber to Kitchener to conduct a special divine service on the occasion of the retirement of Apostle K. Kreutner. The divine service was held on a Friday in order to accommodate a continuing travel schedule to the United States.

Cambodian New Year Service in Burnaby, BC
    (05/05/2013) The Cambodian congregation in Burnaby, BC celebrated another festive Cambodian New Years service on Sunday, April 21st. The service was conducted by Evangelist Chhun and assisting him was Priest Soeun and Deacon Ouch.

Cambodian New Year Celebration in Kitchener East
    (03/05/2013) The Kitchener East congregation enjoyed a special day of celebration on Sunday, April 14th. First, there was a special divine service in celebration of the Cambodian New Year. Both Bishop J. Wiesel and Bishop N. Jansen were here to conduct this service. The Bishop prayed particularly for our Cambodian brothers and sisters, their nation and their family members in Cambodia.

Pancake Breakfast in Denbigh, ON
    (03/05/2013) The congregation in Denbigh, ON put on their annual pancake breakfast Oo Saturday April 13th. Every year the community and surrounding area looks forward to this event which is in support of the local food bank.

Confirmation Service in Dartmouth
    (03/05/2013) District Elder R. Sokolowsky travelled to Dartmouth on Sunday, April 7th to conduct a divine Service in which young Sister Petter received her Confirmation Blessing. Afterwards her family held an open house at their home where the congregation could gather and extend their best wishes to our young sister.

Sunday School Activities in Windsor, ON
    (02/05/2013) On April 23rd the Windsor congregation submitted the following report on a new activity they tried for their Sunday School program: "We decided to designate March as Sunday School Month. The goal was to get the kids volunteering and involved in the congregation. We chose March simply because it was the last chance before three of our students were confirmed."

NAC Canada Move-A-Thon!
    (01/05/2013) We invite you, your family and friends to come together on Saturday, June 8th in designated locations across Canada for a day of fellowship to raise funds towards:
    1. Building a school in Africa
    2. Purchasing bicycles for overseas ministers
    3. Purchasing mobility devices for Canadians with disabilities
    With a combined effort, we can achieve our goal of moving 6,000 kms covering the distance across our great country.

80th Birthday Celebration in Barrie, ON
    (29/04/2013) On Sunday, April 21st Brother F. Hutz, who attends the congregation in Barrie, Ontario celebrated his 80th birthday. Despiute his age, Brother Hutz continues to be one of our congregation's Greeters. After service we congregated downstairs to celebrate his birthday and all those with a birthday in the month of April.

Outreach Service in Toronto French Mission
    (27/04/2013) On Sunday, March 31st the Toronto French mission congregation used the Easter service as an outreach service focused on the people from Rwanda, Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo. It was an exciting morning for us when many new friends came and attended the divine service.
